I have not posted for awhile because I have been BUSY in Real Estate...YAY!
Interest Rates are amazing, considering in the 1980's you were paying 22% YIKES
So, Rural Real Estate is picking up, the high end properties are still a tough sell, because of the limited Buyer's in that price range. Buying is cheaper than renting if you can afford the downpayment and closing costs...so don't delay, get MOVING!
Everyone is about 4 weeks behind, from the long winter and not so great spring, but the market is still stable and still your best investment.

**HAPPY NEW YEAR**
2014 PROMISES TO BE A MORE BALANCED MARKET....
2013 we found a leveling out of the market, not as many buyers as in previous years, and the general public was very cautious, resulting in a longer selling time and more homes left on the market.
The rural market has found that the selling time for homes is certainly longer, averaging 4 to 6 months, which left the Sellers anxious and the Buyers having lots to choose from. Hopefully this year we can be more optimistic and the Buyers that have been sitting on the fence, will jump into the Real Estate Market!
So be reassured that it is always a wise move to OWN your own home and this year will present a perfect opportunity to jump in, with the rates low and the prices stable.....
